On November 19, 2023, the Rotaract Club of Chinatown - Manila embarked on a memorable journey alongside our fellow Rotaract Clubs of Manila Bay and PCCR Manila for our Adbokashi project at Fort Santiago, Intramuros. Led by the dynamic duo of HCP Joshe Tiu and VP Djoshua Tuazon, our team eagerly delved into a day filled with laughter, camaraderie, and enriching experiences.
As we ventured through the historic grounds of Fort Santiago, we were not only immersed in the beauty of its architecture but also captivated by the rich tapestry of its storied past. With each step, we unearthed tales of valor and resilience, gaining newfound appreciation for the enduring legacy of our ancestors during the Spanish-era. Amidst the exploration, our spirits soared with kalokohan and adventure, as we shared light-hearted moments and bonded over shared experiences. Laughter echoed through the corridors, forging bonds of friendship that transcended mere camaraderie. Our Adbokashi project was not only an opportunity for us to give back to our community but also a chance to foster meaningful connections and create lasting memories. As we reflected on the day's events, we were reminded of the importance of unity, friendship, and the pursuit of knowledge. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who joined us on this remarkable journey, as well as to the Rotaract Clubs of Manila Bay and PCCR Manila for their invaluable partnership. Together, we embraced the spirit of adventure and discovery, leaving an indelible mark on the pages of history and forging bonds that will last a lifetime.

Today marked a heartwarming chapter in the Rotaract Club of Chinatown - Manila's journey of service and compassion as we ventured to Gawad Kalinga Paradise Heights in Tondo for our 12 Days of Christmas Project. With joyous spirits and open hearts, we had the privilege of providing gifts and groceries to over 70 families in the community, spreading holiday cheer and making a tangible difference in their lives.
The project was a collective effort, made possible by the dedication and generosity of our members. Led by the example of PP Kim Co, HCP Joshe Tiu, VP Djoshua Tuazon, and Directors Jasmin Tiu, Jennica Ong, and Mavi Tie, along with the support of Rotaractor Ralp Yu, we came together as a united force for good. Each family received gifts and groceries carefully curated to sustain them for the next 12 days, ensuring that they could celebrate the holiday season with warmth and dignity. The smiles on their faces and the gratitude in their hearts were priceless reminders of the true meaning of Christmas and the impact of collective kindness. We extend our deepest thanks to our ever-generous members for their unwavering support and contributions, which made this project possible. Together, we have demonstrated the power of unity, compassion, and service, enriching the lives of our fellow community members and fostering a spirit of hope and solidarity. As we reflect on this memorable day, we are reminded of the profound joy that comes from giving back to those in need. With the Rotaract Club of Chinatown - Manila, every act of kindness becomes a celebration of the true spirit of Christmas, illuminating the lives of others and enriching our own in the process. The generosity and support of the members of the Rotaract Club of Chinatown - Manila have once again shone brightly through their remarkable donation of ₱40,500.00 for our Bottle of Hope fundraising project. Launched last November, this initiative has already made a significant impact, laying the foundation for our upcoming 12 Days of Christmas Project.
Each donation, no matter how big or small, represents a beacon of hope and compassion for those in need within our community. The collective contribution of our members reflects their unwavering commitment to service and their dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of others, especially during the festive season. With the funds raised through the Bottle of Hope fundraising project, we are poised to bring joy and relief to those who may be facing challenges or hardships during the holiday season. Whether it's providing food and essential supplies to families in need, organizing festive events for underprivileged children, or spreading cheer to the elderly and marginalized members of our community, our 12 Days of Christmas Project will be a testament to the power of collective action and kindness. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every member of the Rotaract Club of Chinatown - Manila for their generosity, compassion, and unwavering support. Together, we will continue to spread hope, joy, and love to those who need it most, embodying the true spirit of the season and the Rotaract ethos of service above self. |
